I was lucky to find out that Jess was spending the summer near me in San Diego. She came over one evening during that perfect golden hour. There was no pressure, no deadline, no expectations. We just both wanted to create. We needed to fulfill our creative instincts that only few can relate to.

My modeling background is in the skate & streetwear scene, so its almost ironic that I haven't embraced that with my photography. When Jess showed up she had mostly athletic sports wear with her so I saw this as my opportunity to blend my soft photography style with the athletic aesthetic that I love so much.

I'm pretty happy with the results but am also excited to refine this aspect of my (still developing) photography style.
